Devlog #01 – Steam page is live + quick UX tweaks
Thank you so much! ❤️ We’ve already had 5000+ players in a really short time, and I honestly didn’t expect that for a tiny jam game. :)
The feedback has been super motivating, so I decided to keep developing Billion Bounces.
I’m working on an updated demo with new visuals, new upgrades, a skill tree, and a bunch of other stuff that fits the whole “bounce economy goes too far” vibe.
Steam page (wishlists help a lot)
The Steam page is live (it’s still a work in progress), but if you want to follow the project, a wishlist helps a ton:

Small UX improvements
I’ve also pushed a few quick changes to make the game feel better to play:
-
Removed the Quit button from the main menu on the web version (less confusion).
-
The glitch effect is now off by default (so it doesn’t jump-scare you on boot).
-
Increased the upgrades area.
-
Made upgrade buttons more compact so more fits on screen with less scrolling.
-
Added small in-game messages to let players know I’m actively improving the game.
-
Added a Steam wishlist button inside the game too.
If you played and have more quality-of-life suggestions (UI, readability, feedback, pacing, anything), drop a comment. I’m reading everything.
